By week two of the reclamation for the proposed Okrika Link Bridge, the fill was already taking shape. Sand was pumped through the pipeline into the reclamation area, and excavators spread and shaped it across the site, building the ground up as the works progressed. The works were overseen by Martins Otuya.
The project was carried out at Okrika, Port Harcourt, in Rivers State, using Ellicott dredging equipment. The full story of how the reclamation came together will follow in a longer account. For now, we are grateful for the opportunity to deliver this work and to bring Ellicott dredging capability to Okrika.
